VACANCY - JOB DESCRIPTION

ENTRY LEVEL PART-TIME, TEMPORARY  PHOTOGRAPHER'S ASSISTANT 

We are a portrait photography studio located in Broomfield. Colorado, specializing in senior portraits. We are looking for  temporary part-time photographer's assistants, who are able to work two hours per evening during the week.   This is an on-location position so workplaces will vary, but are usually within 30 minutes of our studio in Broomfield. Hours will vary with the sunset as all sessions start 2 hours before the sun sets, so you need to be available during the week in the two hours before sunset.

Applicants must be available weekday evenings between the hours of 4pm and 8pm (times vary with sunset)

This is a freelance/contractor position.

Duties will include:

• Equipment management - pulling equipment cart weighing 50lbs
• Helping with lighting equipment 
• Some videography (minor use of Go Pro or cell phone for behind-the-scenes coverage)

No experience necessary. This job is entry level and suitable for students. 

Must be able to pull an equipment cart weighing approx 50lbs and lift light stands.

Must be able to traverse some rough terrain (climb over rocks) with light stand and equipment cart

Pay: $50/ session worked = ($25/hr) and paid training.
